Refund Policy

At Port as Pilots Flight School, we understand that circumstances may arise that require a student to cancel or withdraw from their training program. We strive to maintain a fair and transparent refund policy to ensure the best possible experience for our students. Please review the following guidelines regarding refunds:

  1. Deposit and Registration Fees:
    • All deposits and registration fees are non-refundable.
    • These fees are used to secure your enrollment and cover administrative costs associated with processing your application.
  2. Tuition Fees:
    • Tuition fees are refundable based on the following schedule:
      • If a student withdraws before the start of their training program, a full refund of tuition fees will be provided, excluding the non-refundable deposit.
      • If a student withdraws after the start of their training program, refunds will be prorated based on the percentage of training completed, minus any applicable administrative fees.
  3. Flight Training Fees:
    • Flight training fees are refundable based on the actual flight hours completed.
    • If a student withdraws before completing any flight training, a full refund of flight training fees will be provided.
    • If a student withdraws after completing a portion of their flight training, refunds will be prorated based on the number of flight hours completed, minus any applicable administrative fees.
  4. Miscellaneous Fees:
    • Miscellaneous fees such as exam fees, materials fees, and equipment rental fees are non-refundable once incurred.
  5. Refund Processing:
    • Refunds will be processed within a reasonable timeframe, typically within 30 days of the withdrawal request.
    • Refunds will be issued using the same method of payment used for the original transaction whenever possible.
  6. Exceptions:
    • In exceptional circumstances, such as medical emergencies or military deployment, exceptions to this refund policy may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
    • Requests for exceptions must be submitted in writing and accompanied by supporting documentation.
